Visited BaccaNera based on our B&B’s recommendation and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! Great location and ambience and staff was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. From the tagliere/charcuterie board to the beer and wine to our dessert - everything was delicious. A definite ‘recommend’ for anyone visiting the area!
We went to this cozy bar by recommendation of our hotel and were not disappointed! BaccaNera is the place to go, if you want excellent cocktails, wines, exceptionel service, good music and great food in a lovely atmosphere. The service was outstanding, very attentive with great food and drink recommendations. Everything was delicious and you can really spend hours here - so perfect for a date night!
Exceeds every expectation. The atmosphete is very versatile in terms of the experience you can extract from it. From a calm evening of wine tasting to a loud night of fun.

Big tourist scam. We (a foreign couple) came here for our last night in the city and ordered directly 5 glasses of wine for a wine tasting, saying so. We then ordered other things, having a good evening (good wine and service). Until the bill came... They charged the prices of 150ml per glass although we drank 75ml glasses. At the end, the bill was 20€ more than the one we calculated for 75ml glasses! If you scam tourists, do it at least smarter. We left the place with a bitter taste.
We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were on the way to the train station. And wow we were SO glad we did. The food was incredibly flavourful with immaculate presentation. To add to this the service was outstanding! Overall a 5 star experience! Highly highly recommend going here for dinner.
Very cool local Italian wine bar - great food and the local furore red is superb... try the beef tartare & the spaghetto nero...
This little wine bar is must if you are in the area. We tried most of the appetizers and the staff paired them with wines expertly.
The attention to detail of each plate was surprising. Fresh herbs, a thinly sliced radish to compliment the delicately fried seafood. A capress salad with a variety of fresh local tomatoes…just delightful. We will be back!
The food and service were impeccable! Our server made great recommendations. The view at sunset was amazing!
Very nice wine bar with excellent food and friendly staff
In the middle of castellammare’s chaos we found a little wine paradise. We enjoyed so much the great wine selection, especially sangue di giuda!! And all the delicious food! Oh my gosh! Last but not least the service was super friendly, gentle and nice! We immediately felt like home! Sure, we will come back guys!
